God and The Bible

There is only one triune God, and He has chosen to reveal himself to us as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without error. It is the final authority for our faith and life (2 Timothy 3:15 - 17).

Humankind and Sin

Humankind was created good, in the image of God, in order to enjoy fellowship with Him. However, temptation led to sin which ultimately resulted in eternal separation from God (Genesis 1:26 - 31; Romans 5:12 - 21).

Jesus Christ

Jesus came into the world in the form of man without ceasing to be God. Our right standing with God is assured because of His birth, life, and physical resurrection and ascension after His death (John 1:1; John 3:16).

Salvation

Our only hope for reestablishing a right relationship with God. Salvation is a gift from God that is only received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:3 - 14; John 14:6).

The Christian Life

We live a life of enjoyment in and at peace with God. The Holy Spirit empowers us for obedience, witness, and service in order to bring the truth of God’s love to all (Acts 2:38, 1 John 4:7 - 17).
